Canyon and Hiking 10 Days 9 Nights
Arrival at Amman Airport, our representative will be waiting for you; he/she will escort you through the customs. The driver will wait for you in the arrival hall, he well be holding a name/group name sign and he will transfer you to your Hotel in Amman for overnight.
After breakfast your day will begin by visiting the city of Madaba (about 37 KM driving which takes about 40 minutes) there you will visit St. George Church in which your will see a very famous mosaic map. Then to move to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land, then to have the lunch meal at Mazayen Nebo Restaurant.
Crossing the King’s Highway until Karak (about 100 KM driving which takes about 1 hr 45 min). In Karak you will visit the marvellous Crusaders Castle of Al Karak. Then drive to Dana Nature Reserve (about 100 KM driving which takes about 1 hr 45 min) for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Dana in one of the traditional guest houses, Hotel, including dinner and breakfast
After breakfast start hiking from Dana Nature Reserve to Wadi Feynan. You have an experienced English-speaking hiking guide with you from today. All meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner are included with every meal a nice Bedouin cup of tea. Water, soft drinks. Camping equipment and jeep included for the hiking days. Today you hike a spectacular downhill walk from Dana to Feynan through the sandstone gorge of Wadi Dana. Private camping in Wadi Feynan including dinner and breakfast. Total of 18 km hiking – 6-7 hours. Overnight camping in Wadi Feynan, including camping equipment, dinner, breakfast, lunch, jeep, etc.
From Wadi Feynan you continue hiking to Wadi Abu Alsakeen where you will have lunch. Then continue to Wadi Araba where you will arrive to your campsite having a dinner and overnight. Your luggage will be transferred with the jeep to the camping place. And you will have a donkey available today so you do not need to carry the water etc by yourself.
Now you will hike through Wadi Araba Desert to the beautiful mountains from where you have beautiful views over the surrounding area. A part of today you will be hiking uphill. Overnight on private camping at Shakarit Musaid.
After breakfast transfer to Petra checking into your hotel then to proceed to Petra visitor centre ,normal visit by Siq so the guide will take you inside of Petra. Visit Siq, the Treasury, and Street of Facades, Theatre and the Colonnaded Street. Go back to the hotel and overnight
After breakfast drive to Wadi Rum, famous from the red sand and rocky mountains. You will enjoy a full day hiking in Wadi Rum and Disi area. Through the beautiful different colours of sand. Arrive to your private campsite for your last night of private camping. Enjoy your last evening sitting around the campfire drinking traditional Bedouin tea. Soft drinks, and water
Overnight camping in Wadi Rum, including camping equipment, dinner, breakfast, lunch, jeep, chef etc. Bring your own sleeping bag – it's not included!
After breakfast, enjoy your last few hours of hiking in Wadi Rum in the morning. After lunch (included) you will be transferred to the Dead Sea for overnight at one of the Dead Sea Hotels and Resorts. And Overnight, Including Dinner.
Free day at the Dead Sea, lowest point on the earth's surface. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud. Overnight at Dead Sea Spa Hotel and Resort, including bed and breakfast.
Transfer to airport for departure.
